Greg Tillett
was the 1996/97 Tip O'Neill fellow. An Australian based in the University
of Western Sydney he is a consultant specialising in conflict resolution
and mediation. He is a Member of the National Alternative Dispute
Resolution Advisory Council, which has been appointed by the federal
Attorney General to advise the federal government and he has also
worked as a consultant to the Australian Army and to the Human Rights
and Equal Opportunities Commission in Australia.
Dr. Tillett
had previously worked closely with INCORE on its peacekeeping project
and during his fellowship developed a package on training for UN
peacekeepers. In addition to this he also undertook some unique
research on the Christian-Moslem conflict in the Middle East and
prepared a paper on the key issues in research methodology in ethnic
conflict.
