MSc in Applied Peace and Conflict Studies Programmes

Now Accepting Applications for September 2016

In 2016 INCORE will offer two programmes in Applied Peace and Conflict Studies. These offer students a unique opportunity to undertake a graduate programme characterised by academic excellence within the context of a vibrant and culturally rich society emerging from conflict. Based within Ulster University's International Conflict Research Institute (INCORE) in Derry-Londonderry, the main programme has now been running for over 25 years attracting over 400 graduates from more than 30 countries.

MSc Applied Peace and Conflict Studies

This programme has a strong focus on post-violence peacebuilding. As the course is based in an active research and practice Institute working locally and globally, you can expect to learn from Faculty with practical and theoretical skills. Its location in Northern Ireland provides excellent opportunities for experiential learning in a society coming out of violent conflict. For more information on the MSc. Applied Peace and Conflict studies programme click here.

MSc Applied Peace and Conflict Studies with Early Years

The programme is offered in association with Early Years, which is the largest organization in Northern Ireland for Young Children. The programme stresses the development of skills relevant to graduates who want to go on to be practitioners, researchers and policymakers in the peace and conflict field with particular reference to Early Years. Only the first semester of this programme will involve classroom based teaching. Semester two is offered fully online. For more information on the MSc.
